Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store and protect personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

These are general terms for the ASE Operational Reliability Platform. The specific conditions of service are finalised with each customer in a signed Order Form, which prevails where it differs from these terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how Agile Solutions Engineers (ABN 96 587 026 518) (the "Company", "we") handles personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

1.What we collect

Account holders & Authorised Users: name, work email, phone number, role/job title.
Usage & log data: actions in the Platform, device/browser information, and access logs kept for security and troubleshooting.
Support communications: messages you send us by email.
Website analytics: aggregate usage data about our marketing website (see section 5).

Operational data the Customer enters about assets is handled under the Terms of Service (the Customer owns that data).

2.Why we collect it

To provide, secure and support the Platform;
To manage accounts, billing and communications;
To understand and improve our website and service;
To maintain security and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3.Where your information is stored

Australian data residency. Customer operational data and account information are stored in Australia (Sydney region, ap-southeast-2).

4.Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We use a small number of trusted providers, who process limited information only to provide their service to us:

Supabase — database, authentication and file storage (Australian region).
Vercel — web hosting and content delivery for the website and app front-end.
Resend — delivery of transactional email.
Google Analytics (Google) — website usage analytics (see section 5).

We do not otherwise disclose personal information except where required or authorised by law (see section 9).

5.Analytics & cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand aggregate usage (pages visited, general location, device type). This uses cookies and may involve Google processing data overseas.

Cookies: we use (a) essential cookies for sign-in/session and security, and (b) analytics cookies via Google Analytics. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling analytics cookies will not affect core use of the Platform.

6.Cross-border disclosure

Customer operational data and account data are stored in Australia. Some providers may process limited data overseas — in particular transactional email delivery (Resend) and website analytics (Google). Where we disclose information to overseas recipients we take reasonable steps consistent with APP 8.

7.Security

Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest;
Role-based access control and tenant isolation between customers;
Least-privilege access to systems and credentials.

8.Retention & deletion

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and record-keeping obligations. On termination, Customer operational data may be exported within 30 days and then deleted from active systems in the ordinary course. Account and log data are retained for reasonable security and compliance periods.

9.Disclosure required by law

We may disclose personal information where required or authorised by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.

10.Data breaches (Notifiable Data Breaches scheme)

We maintain measures to protect personal information. If an eligible data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

11.Access & correction

You may request access to, or correction of, the personal information we hold about you (APPs 12 and 13) by contacting info@agilesolutionsengineers.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable time.

12.Complaints

If you have a privacy concern, contact us first and we will work to resolve it. If you are not satisfied, you may escalate to the OAIC at oaic.gov.au.
