Security Overview

We build the ASE Operational Reliability Platform for high-consequence industrial operations, so security and data protection are designed in from the start. This overview is factual and does not claim certifications we do not hold.

1.Australian data residency

All customer data is stored in Australia (Sydney region, ap-southeast-2). Your operational data stays onshore.

2.Tenant isolation

Each customer's data is logically isolated using row-level security on every table, so one customer cannot access another's data.

3.Role-based access control

Access is governed by roles (for example admin, technician, client), so users see only what their role permits.

4.Encryption

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

5.Private file storage

Uploaded files are held in private storage with scoped, access-controlled links — not public by default.

6.Backups & recovery

The Platform uses automated backups with point-in-time recovery to support restoration after an incident.

7.Credential handling & server functions

We follow least-privilege principles for credentials. Server-side functions verify authenticated (JWT) requests before acting.

8.Infrastructure account protection

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled on our infrastructure accounts.

9.Audit-ready traceability

The Platform is built for auditability, with timestamped, ISO 9001-styled records and evidence trails that support inspection and review.

10.Incident response & disclosure

We maintain processes to investigate and respond to security incidents, and will notify affected customers and authorities where required (see the Privacy Policy for the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme).
